LaureL Coleman Steinhice

Laurel has just returned from opening the “Marion” exhibit in Berlin honoring her famous mother, Marion Coleman.

See what the Us Embassy in Berlin said about this event. Scroll down to last article on page.

You can read all about Marion’s courageous life and place in history by reading Laurel’s book “Marion” and “Marion’s Child” (her own life story as a child of the first woman AP wire service reporter in the London War Room and as Deputy Director of Public Affairs in Berlin) .

Her book, “Marion” tells the true story of her mother’s life as an American woman working in a man’s world, in London during World War II and in Postwar Berlin before, during and after the Blockade and Airlift.  Marion was an extraordinary person, who lived a slice of history.
